Terms of Service
Updated 10 September 2026. These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of Girli (girli.app). They cover the whole service: the website, the characters, the chat, the photos she sends, coins, plans and support. By creating an account, paying, or using Girli in any way you accept them in full. If you disagree with any part, do not use the service. No separate signature is needed.
1. Who may use Girli
Girli is for adults only. You must be 18 or older, or older still if the age of majority where you live is higher. Registering below that age is forbidden; such accounts are deleted together with their data as soon as we find them. You are responsible for whether adult material is lawful where you are. We do not check your local rules for you and we give no legal advice about them. You may not use Girli if your account was previously banned for breaking the rules.
2. What the service actually is
Girli provides AI companions. Every character is fictional and machine generated, and every character is an adult. You are always talking to a language model, never to a human being. Nothing a companion says is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and none of it is a statement of fact about the real world. She may be wrong, she may contradict herself, and she may forget things.
The parts of the product that people ask about most, described honestly: she keeps long-term memory of your conversations, her mood changes on its own clock, she can open a conversation herself, and she sends photos generated by our own image engine so that one character keeps one face. All of it is software behaviour, not a person, and we never pretend otherwise.
3. Your account
Chatting needs an account: an email address, a password and confirmation of the address. The password is stored as a hash and is not readable by us. One person keeps one account. Automated or bulk registration, and spare accounts created to get around limits or a ban, are forbidden. You are responsible for everything done under your account, including purchases. Tell support at once if you suspect someone else has access. You can delete the account yourself in settings, or by writing to support@girli.app from the account address.
4. Free use and paid use
A new account gets 10 free messages in total. That is a one-off allowance for the lifetime of the account, not a daily one, and it does not reset. When it runs out, chatting continues on a paid plan. On the free allowance a companion will send at most 1 photo per day; on a paid plan the daily ceiling is 8. These numbers are read from the live settings of the service, so this page cannot drift away from what the product does.
Paid access comes as a plan - Premium at $9.99 per month or Ultimate at $24.99 per month - and as packs of coins for individual actions. Coins are an internal unit of account. They have no value outside Girli, cannot be transferred between accounts and cannot be exchanged for money except as described in the Refund Policy. Unused coins do not expire while the account exists.
There is no automatic renewal and no self-renewing subscription: a paid period simply ends, nothing is charged, and a new period has to be bought again. Payment is taken by third-party payment providers (card and cryptocurrency). We never receive or store your card number.
5. What you type and upload
Your messages, the characters you build and anything you upload stay yours. You are responsible for having the right to upload them. Uploading a photograph of a person other than yourself, without that adult person's explicit consent, is forbidden - public figures included.
You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and technically process this material only as far as running the service requires: delivering replies, keeping her memory, generating images (including on a third-party GPU provider), showing the result to you, and moderation. The licence ends when you delete the material or the account, except for copies the law requires us to keep or that are needed to investigate a violation.
6. Rights in what the engine produces
We claim no ownership of the images and text produced for you and ask no royalty for your use of them. Note that in several countries output created without human authorship may not attract copyright at all; we make no promise that it does, and no promise that a similar result will not be produced for somebody else. Generative models are variable: the same request can give different results, and the result you wanted may not appear.
7. What is forbidden
The hard lines are set out in the Content Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: nothing involving minors in any form, nothing depicting a real identifiable person without consent, and nothing unlawful. Also forbidden: reselling access, scraping the site, automating the interface, probing it for vulnerabilities, and trying to extract the prompts or model weights behind it.
Breaking these rules can cost you the content, the paid balance tied to the violation, and the account. Where the law requires a report, we report.
8. Availability, changes and termination
Girli is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind. Features change, models are replaced, and parts of the service can be down. We may change or discontinue any feature; where a change removes something you have already paid for, the Refund Policy applies. You may stop using Girli at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless the law forbids it.
9. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for anything a companion said or an image showed. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the event. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. These terms, and contact
If a specific document - the Content Policy, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy - covers a question in more detail, that document wins on that question. If a clause is unenforceable, the rest stands. We may update these terms; a meaningful change is reflected on this page and the date at the top moves.
