Cookie Policy

Updated 10 September 2026. Girli sets few cookies and none of them sell you to anybody. Here is the whole list, by name, with what each one does. Names are given exactly as your browser shows them so you can check this page against reality.

Strictly necessary

• fs_sess - your signed-in session. Without it the site cannot tell one visitor from another and chat is impossible. Expires when the session ends or you sign out.
• fs_step - short-lived state for multi-step forms, so a half-finished character or sign-up survives a page reload.

Preferences

• girli_nav - whether you collapsed the side menu.
• girli_cat - which catalogue tab you were last on (girls, anime or guys). Stored in your browser, not on our side.
• sw_lang - the interface language you picked. The name is a leftover from the engine the chat is built on; it does nothing but hold a two-letter language code.

Measurement

• girli_vid - a random visitor id used to count how many people, rather than how many page loads, reached a page. It is not tied to your name or email.
• girli_land - the first page you landed on, kept for 30 days, so we can tell which pages bring people who stay.
• sw_src - where you came from (a search engine, another site, or direct). Same leftover naming as above.
• Google Analytics - traffic measurement, using its own cookies. It reports pages and events, never the content of your conversations.

Turning them off

Every browser can block or delete cookies for a single site; look for site settings, or privacy and security. Blocking the preference and measurement cookies costs you nothing but convenience. Blocking the strictly necessary ones means you cannot stay signed in, so chat will not work at all. Questions: support@girli.app.
