18 U.S.C. 2257 Statement

Updated 10 September 2026. Girli contains no photographs, films or recordings of real human beings. Every character on the service is invented, and every image is produced by a machine from a text description. No model, actor or performer took part in making any of it, because there was nothing to take part in.

Why 18 U.S.C. 2257 does not apply

The record-keeping and labelling duties of 18 U.S.C. 2257 and 2257A, and of 28 C.F.R. Part 75, attach to visual depictions of actual human beings engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Girli produces no such depictions. Its output is wholly synthetic imagery generated by neural networks; there is no performer whose age could be verified and no production whose records could be kept. To the extent any part of the service could be read as covered, it is exempt, and this statement is our good-faith notice of that exemption.

Every character is an adult

Characters on Girli are written and depicted as adults without exception. Content involving minors in any form is banned outright by the Content Policy, is blocked by automated filters on both the text and the image side, and ends the account immediately. Where the law requires a report, we report.

Uploads

Where the product accepts an uploaded photograph, the person who uploads it warrants that it is of themselves or of another adult who gave explicit consent. Uploads are screened, and a suspected image of a minor is refused and recorded. Nothing uploaded is published anywhere on the site.
