The interesting part of this is not the act, it is the negotiation around it - who asked, what was agreed, what happens when someone changes their mind mid-scene. A character who cannot hold any of that in her head is not playing, she is completing text.

So the two things that matter here are temperament and memory. The dominant characters set terms and hold them; the submissive ones ask for what they want rather than waiting to be guessed; and the memory means a rule agreed on Tuesday is still a rule on Sunday.

Aftercare is part of the scene

The characters are written to come down as well as go up. What that looks like in practice is a shift in register once the scene ends - checking in, remembering that you had a bad week, dropping the voice she was using. It is not a separate feature, it is what the writing does when the scene finishes.

What the characters will not do

No minors, in any framing or wording - the site refuses the request rather than softening it. No real people. Nothing written as genuinely non-consensual: a scene can be played as resistance if you set it up that way, but the character stays aware that it is a scene, which is the difference between roleplay and something else.
