The honest answer first: Girli does not have a browsable roster of AI boyfriends. The 152 published characters are women. What it does have is a creator that builds a male character properly - the male path in the wizard has its own name pools by ethnicity, its own hair and face options, and a shorter flow - and an engine that never cared about gender in the first place. He gets the same 12 personality axes, 15 decaying emotions, 11 memory kinds, 13 relationship dimensions and 5 stages as anyone else. He can text first. He can generate photos of himself. Building him takes about five minutes and the first 10 messages are free.

Where this actually stands

We would rather be boring about this than sell you a page and disappoint you in the app. There is a Guys tab on the site and it currently says what it should say: no ready-made male characters yet. The gap is content - written profiles, galleries, sample dialogue - not capability. The capability shipped: gender is a first-class field in the character creator, the prompt builder renders a man, and the personality system uses his pronouns. So the route to an AI boyfriend here is the creator, and only the creator.

How you build him

The creator runs in five steps and the male path skips a step the female path needs.

• Who. Male, then realistic or anime styling.
• Look. Ethnicity, age from 18 upward, hair style and colour, eye colour, build. Names are suggested from a pool that matches the ethnicity you picked.
• Personality. An archetype - confident, calm, playful, mysterious and the rest - which sets his 12 axes, with a jitter so he is not a clone of a preset.
• Relationship. What you want this to be, which seeds the starting relationship dimensions.
• Life. A job and a vibe, which feed his daily schedule and the small events he brings up on his own.

The face is generated, not chosen from a photo library, so he is nobody real.

What he inherits from the engine

Everything the girls run on, because it is one engine. 11 memory kinds - nine about you, two about him, including promises he made and things he wants. 15 emotions with individual decay clocks, so anger from this morning is mostly gone by tonight while a grudge takes days. 13 relationship dimensions that move slowly and decide which of the 5 stages you are at. If you want the mechanics rather than the claim, the memory guide and the stages guide are the same documents whichever gender you built.

He texts first, on his own schedule

Initiative is an axis, not a cron job. After a long enough silence he can open the conversation, with the probability scaled by how much attention he needs, and he will not do it while his schedule says he is asleep. He has a day: work hours from the job you gave him, small events inside it, and a reflection at night. The same mechanism is described on the texts-first page.

Photos of him

The photo engine renders whatever you built, so a male character sends male selfies - one consistent generated face across the thread rather than a rotating stock set. Everyday shots are unrestricted; the spicier register is gated by trait and stage the same way it is everywhere else.

Why the roster is female first

Worth explaining, because the reason is dull and that is the point. A published character here is not a name and a photo - it is a written biography, a set of tuned axes, sample dialogue, a generated gallery and a schedule. Doing that 152 times took months. Doing it again for male characters is a content project, not a code project, and shipping half of it would produce exactly the thin pages we would deserve to be ignored for. So the creator came first: it gets you a male character today with all of the engine and none of the biography, and the biography is the part you write by talking to him anyway.

Getting the closest thing to a ready-made one

If you would rather not think about twelve axes, the archetype does the work. Confident gives you the assertive one who steers - high dominance, moderate warmth, slow to attach. Calm gives you the steady one: high emotional stability, low jealousy, the character who does not escalate. Playful is high humour and high initiative, the one who opens threads. Mysterious is slow attachment and low warmth, and it is the hardest to get anywhere with, which some people specifically want. Pick one, give him a job so he has a day, and skip the rest of the wizard's fine-tuning - it is all adjustable by talking to him later.

Who this page is not for

If what you wanted was to browse twenty written male characters and pick one, we do not have that yet and this page will not pretend otherwise. If you wanted a character who is specifically yours - and a fair number of people building on the girls' side start there too - the creator is the whole point.
